[Initiative Highlight] Corporate Free Throw Tournament

Initiative Introduction / COMMUNITY ACTIVITY

To deepen the fellowship among our tenants, we held a basketball free throw tournament. We'd like to share the report from this inter-company event, which aimed to foster community building and expand social networks within the building through sports.

Basketball free throw tournament with 5 players per team (tournament format with a consolation round)

Friday, November 14, 2025; Registration starts at 5:15 PM / Tournament starts at 5:30 PM / Ends at 9:00 PM

Participants
All tenants of Minatomirai Center Building (up to 8 companies on a first-come, first-served basis)
Team Composition
5 players per team (including at least 2 male and 2 female players). Player substitutions are allowed throughout the tournament.
Prizes
Prizes were awarded to the winning, runner-up, 3rd place, and consolation round winning teams (the winning team received a trophy).
Light Refreshments & Drinks
Participating teams were provided with 12 bento boxes and 12 drinks per team.

Background and Objectives

Minatomirai Center Building hosted an inter-company free throw tournament as a way to deepen fellowship among our tenants. The aim was to vitalize the community within the building and promote connections that transcend individual tenant companies by providing an opportunity for interaction through sports.

Tenant Interaction
By competing as teams across company boundaries, natural interaction and connections among tenant companies are fostered.
Community Revitalization
Sharing a sports event creates a sense of unity throughout the building and enhances the appeal of the workplace.
Mental and Physical Refreshment
Providing an opportunity for physical activity after work promotes employee health and offers a chance for mental refreshment.
